Deliberative Town Hall on COVID-19 with Sen. Catherine Cortez Masto
Mon., Aug. 31 | 5-6:30 pm PT
Nevada Senator Catherine Cortez Masto will be participating in an online Connecting to Congress Deliberative Town Hall on COVID-19 on Monday, Aug. 31 from 5 - 6:30 pm PT, alongside Director of Nevada State Public Health Laboratory Dr. Mark Pandori. All Nevadans are invited to attend this event— all you need to do is register at the link above.
The town hall will be online using the GoToWebcast platform. When you register, you also have the chance to take part in a survey about COVID-19, the results from which will be reported to Sen. Cortez Masto’s office. You do NOT have to take the survey in order to register for the town hall. After you register, you will receive an email with a unique link to join the online town hall, which you can access via smartphone, tablet, or computer.
The Connecting to Congress team has also created a detailed issue guide on COVID-19 and potential policies surrounding this issue. We encourage you to read the guide before attending the event.
The town hall on Aug. 31 will be moderated by the Connecting to Congress team. This is an opportunity for you to ask Sen. Cortez Masto questions and let her know about any concerns or problems you have had as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. Our goal for these Deliberative Town Halls is to help elected officials hear from not just the loudest and most powerful voices in the conversation, but a representative cross-section of their constituents, so they can better represent their district. We hope you will participate!
